Can CU Buffaloes football win the championship in 2024

2024 college football season is about to start and the hype around CU Buffaloes Football team is even stronger this year then last year thanks to coach Prime.  For second year in a row season tickets have been sold out. Fans are excited this year after the disappointing 2023 year where CU had a disappointing record of 4-8.  

Many fans might be surprised but CU Buffaloes are the 4th most bet team to win the 2024 championship. They went from +20000 to+12500 on betting sites.   Some of the reasons why many think CU will do good is they moved back to BIG 12 conference which is easier conference now without Texas or Oklahoma. Also this will be the first year for 12 team format for playoffs.  

Coach Prime has many things to prove after disappointing 2023 year.  This year will also most likely be last year for his son Shedeur Sanders  as he is projected top 3 pick in the NFL draft.  Last year he broke  the single season passing record with 3230 yards and those numbers should go up.   

CU is playing in a weaker conference and easier schedule this year.  My  guess is CU will have 6-6 or 7-6 record.  They should be able to beat North Dakota state, Nebraska, Colorado st,  UCF, Cincinnati,  Kansas.   The teams that concern me are Baylor, Kansas st, Arizona, Texas tech, Oklahoma st.

Hi foodies a new restaurant is having grand opening on Monday June 10th 2024 in Longmont Colorado.   Den on eleventh is a new restaurant opening up at 1111 Francis st where the old longmont public restaurant use to be.   Beau and Taylor Raffensperger  two brothers who grew up in Longmont and went to skyline high school and decided to open a restaurant in longmont where they grew up.   At the Den on eleventh the menu will consist of mostly new American cuisine.  They will also be focusing on steaks and fresh seafood.  Steaks will be locally sourced and seafood flown in from east coast.  Something that is missing in Longmont right now.  I looked at the menu and the cheapest thing you can order is $9 and $37 for ribeye steak.  Most items were priced around $15-$20. Most dangerous neighborhood in Longmont Colorado

Hi everyone let me show you one of the most dangerous neighborhood in my city of Longmont Colorado.  That place is Countryside village manufactured mobile homes  located at 1400 south collier st.  Over the years they had number of shooting and last year a child was shot in a drive by shooting here. Countryside village has mobile parks also in greeley and federal heights.  Longmont doesn't really have any hoods or bad part of town.  You feel safe walking or riding bike anywhere.  But some areas do see more crimes . Lmk if you agree if  Countryside village is the most dangerous hood in longmont?

Mystery buildings on corner of 9th and main st

Hi Longmont many people have driven by and seen the 2 building on 9th and main st. The one with Broncos mural  and the one next to it. As long as I been in Longmont they sat empty in a prime location.  I guess who ever owns it is not in hurry to sell or redevelop it yet.   But with the new Casa Lou Cardenas apartments built across the street maybe we will see something happen. I try to find old pictures but that seem impossible.  But from what I heard the Broncos mural building use to be gas station 20+ years ago.  And next to it use to be taco/mexican restaurant .     Lmk what kind of business you would like to see open up here?
