Longmont mobile parks could get big help

So today I learned that Boulder county is trying to get $10 million dollar funding to help number of mobile parks.  Is rare to see mobile home parks in boulder county but there are still number of them around. Many are older and need repairs and help.   If approved the funding will come from department of housing and urban development.

Here is where some of the money is being used for. They need $4.28 million to help 20 low income people replace their mobile homes. Another $2 million to help 100 low income people fix up mobile homes built after June 15, 1976.  Another $2 million to build waste water treatment facility for San souci co op.

Longmont Colorado has number of mobile home parks and many are older and rundown.  Idk how much of the money will be coming to Longmont but it can be a good new for people living in mobile home parks.

For people interested learning more the county is having public hearing thru zoom every Tuesday from 5:30- 6:30 pm. Boulder country will know by September if the funding is approved and will take 5 years.
